[+] Ministry news:
RISE has an album cover. Thanks be to God that it came out parallel to the vision of the band! I'm so excited for the guys. This new CD will surely open doors for them and the hearts of their listeners. And how exciting is it to have helped these talented Catholic musicians with their work?!
I am honored to inform you all that my dear brother in Christ and vocalist for the ground-breaking Catholic band Seven Sorrows, Mike, has blessed the ministry in a great way. The Office of Youth Ministry for the Diocese of San Bernadino, CA has been looking for someone to design their website, and Mike has suggested not only my amazing host Marco Velasquez & Prolific Design, but also little old me here at angelus.tuus!! I have not yet been contacted by the Diocese, but according to Mike, it may take a while after the start of the new year. Whatever happens, I am truly grateful to Mike and to God. I pray that whatever happens does so in the very best interest of the OYM.
[+] Angela news:
Lately, two things have been coming back to me. The first is my future in higher education. My first choice of which is St. Mary's University, an amazing Marian-founded private school here in the town that I love so much. My application to the U will be complete very soon, and I hope to hear from the Office of Admissions reguarding their decision in early February!
I aim to double-major in Theology and English/Communication Arts so as to prepare myself for what I believe is God's plan for my life: strengthening youth ministry by way of the utilization of the media. Just yesterday, a local millionaire and alumnus donated $25 million to the University! That means more scholarship money! :D
Secondly, Mother Mary has truly been aiding me in my vocational discernment. She has urged me to pray the Rosary every day and spend time listening to Daddy speaking to my heart. All of this has really helped me be at peace and trust in His love.
I've been looking at religious orders lately, but I always come back to the Daughters of Saint Paul because of their mission. It is so obvious that they are living for the same reason that I am, but I am still not sure whether I am truly called to the religous life. I ask that you please remember me in your prayers.
Have a blessed Advent and Christmas, everyone!
